On Christmas Eve, Pope Francis opened the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican for the beginning of the Jubilee in 2025. By passing through the Holy Door, Catholics will be able to receive ‘full forgiveness’ for their sins. The gates will remain open throughout the year to welcome the expected 30 million pilgrims.
