Norway’s royal crisis: Crown princess faces Epstein probe ahead of son’s rape trial




Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit is facing increasing scrutiny after her name appeared more than a thousand times in the latest batch of released documents linked to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The revelations come as the princess’s son, Marius Borg Hoiby, faces 38 criminal charges, including rape, in a trial due to begin on Tuesday. Over the weekend, Hoiby was arrested again — this time on suspicion of threats, assault and violating a restraining order, police said.
