Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane is firing back at critics who slammed the team’s coaching decisions after being eliminated from the playoffs. The Bills fired Sean McDermott on Jan. 19 and replaced him eight days later with former offensive coordinator Joe Brady.
However, Buffalo’s move has also been met with criticism.

“Fuck it out there. It’s about what’s right for this team,” Beane said Monday, via Tyler Dunne of Go Long . “If we win, they’re going to love it. That’s the same thing I said when I drafted Josh Allen. If I’m wrong, the moving company will be at my house.”

“So, I understand. If I thought things should be different, I wouldn’t regret choosing someone to appease the outside world. If I was wrong, I would quit my job and go home.”

Fans slammed the general manager for his profanity.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “This guy is such a loser.”
“This guy is really upset about the noise outside, which is great,” one fan said .
“This is so tone deaf lol you guys are scary clowns and clearly have no idea why the fans are angry. Let me explain it to you – the quality is top notch and the price is astronomical. Solve your problem,” another fan said.

McDermott made the playoffs in eight of his nine seasons. From 2020 to 2024, they also won the AFC East championship five times.
However, after McDermott failed to lead the team to the Super Bowl, Buffalo decided to fire him while retaining Beane.

The Bills promoted Brandon Beane to president of football operations after Sean McDermott was fired. Beane will also continue to serve as the team’s general manager.
Buffalo hired him as general manager in 2017. He was named Executive of the Year by The Sporting News in 2020 and 2022.
