Three-time World Series champion Terrence Gore dies at 34 kansas city royals announced Saturday.
Gore was a member of the Royals team that won the American League Championship Series in 2014 and 2015 and the World Series in 2015. He started playing from 2014-22 and played with the Royals, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets.
Gore is one of the most unique players in Major League Baseball, earning a spot on the postseason roster for his ability to pinch run and defend the outfield. He played 112 regular season games in his career and hit .216. He had no home runs in his career but had 43 stolen bases.

He made just 85 appearances in his career Major League Baseball Profession. While Gore wasn’t a threat at the plate, he was a threat on the basepaths, as he stole 324 bases in 11 minor league seasons.
His base-stealing ability made him a staple on many postseason rosters. Gore went 5-for-6 on stolen base attempts in the postseason.

Gore appeared in two postseason games during the 2015 Royals World Series and one game during the 2015 Royals World Series Warriors The World Series will be held in 2021.
The Macon, Georgia native appeared in two regular season games for the Dodgers in 2020. He was on the roster for the Dodgers’ first two series wins in the 2020 World Series but was left off the roster for the NLCS and World Series but still received a ring.

Gore has more World Series rings (3) than career RBIs (1).
He is survived by his wife Britney and three children.
