in a recent interview daily mailMike’s children, Michael Saldina Jr. and Angelina, expressed their many problems with the film, including being only paid $30,000 to consult on the film, and Mike Jr.’s claim that he was “intentionally left out of the film.”
“Every interview these monsters gave on national television never mentioned my existence at all, even though I was the most important force in my father’s life, even though I wasn’t in Wisconsin because I was his only son,” he said of Jackman and Hudson.

While he didn’t star in the film, he did appear in the 2008 documentary “Lighting & Thunder,” which told the story of his father’s legacy. The documentary was released two years after his father died in July 2006 from a fall that caused a brain haemorrhage.
Text messages between Mike Jr.’s sister Angelina and film producer John Fox, obtained by the Daily Mail, confirmed the pair were paid $30,000 for consulting fees, with Fox expressing sympathy for their lack of input, telling Angelina, “I totally understand, but I’m sorry and know this is not the most ideal situation.”
Angelina is listed MovieAccording to the Daily Mail, she signed a contract authorizing the film to tell a fictionalized version of her story, but did not ensure she would stay in touch with anyone in the cast, including King and Princess.
The two also had issues with the way their father was portrayed, with Mike Jr. saying that if someone talked to them about their dad, they would know that he would “talk in a very, very slow way.”

“(My dad) would thank God every show, and then he would give a very brief testimony about his journey to recovery,” he recalled. “If anyone felt like they were alone or they needed help or needed prayer, (he would tell them), ‘You come over here after the show and I’m going to sit here and I’m going to talk to you.’ “
In addition to not being involved in the storyline, Mike Jr. and Angelina said the film didn’t do a good job of showing the tensions that existed in their home when they were growing up, with Angelina saying, “The only thing that was real was the love between my dad and Claire.”
“I mean, yeah, it’s a great story,” she said. “It’s a beautiful story, but it’s not what it is. I think that’s why it’s disturbing, because it’s a lie.”
While little Mike and Angelina were dissatisfied with the final product, their stepmother Claire Wisconsin State Fair In 1994, her two children, son Dayna and daughter Rachel, were extremely supportive.

Mike Jr. and Angelina were also invited to the premiere, but according to Mike Jr., they were told to “stay away from any celebrities and reporters.”
“I want the true story to come out, I want it to be used with truth and dignity, and I want retribution,” Mike Jr. said. “I want NBCUniversal (and the other parties involved) to get comeuppance, not just for me, but for my father, for me, and for my sister, my father’s true descendants, because they screwed us over.”
“Everyone thought it was a wonderful movie, very touching,” he added. “This is all lies. It steals my dad’s life’s hard work so that Claire, Rachel and Dana can get huge paychecks.”
