Manchester United now eye summer spending spree and chart approach for Caleb Yirenkyi

Manchester United Now the team are looking to sign a “very good” midfielder, with director of football Jason Wilcox himself keen.

Manchester United plans summer spending spree

Manchester United have been in excellent form since Michael Carrick took over as interim manager, winning their last four games Premier League game, which means Frank Ilett (aka “United Coast”) is just one win away from finally getting a haircut.

The Red Devils have recorded some impressive wins during this period, beating arch-rivals Manchester City and league leaders Arsenal and currently sit five points clear of sixth-placed Liverpool, meaning Michael Carrick’s side are in a strong position to secure Champions League qualification.

If United can qualify for Europe’s elite competition, they should be able to attract some top players at the end of the season, and it has now been revealed that they are planning a summer spending spree.

According to TEAMtalk, if Carrick’s team qualifies for the Champions League, Ineos plans to spend 200 million pounds to introduce new players, including Elliot Anderson, Rocco Reitz, Carlos Baleba and Adam Walton One of the goals in the center of midfield.

However, reports claim that United are also considering bringing in an unknown number of more players and have made contact over a move for North Zealand midfielder Caleb Ilenki, with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal also interested.

Wilcox is personally keen to sign Ilenki, a deal that could be completed for a relatively low fee by United’s standards, with the Danish club hoping to hold out for £22m.

‘Very good’ Irenji could be exciting long-term signing

north zealand teammates little amoco took the time to praise the 20-year-old midfielder last month, saying: “Caleb is crazy, he’s outstanding. I say that every time because he performs almost every time, every game and the consistency is top-notch.

“Caleb is a superstar and I tell him a lot every time, but he also wants to achieve a lot.”

The rising star then continued his career before the Super League winter break, scoring his second goal of the season and fifth assist in a 2-1 win over Sanderzhsk.

Ilenki is still very young so it will be important for United to bring in a more experienced midfielder this summer. Casemiro is set to leave but the North Zealand star could be an exciting long-term signing.
