Manchester United A shock move to sign a replacement for Chelsea striker Cole Palmer, who is considered untouchable at Stamford Bridge, is now reportedly being considered.
Ronnie Orr: Palmer’s move ‘unrealistic’
The Red Devils have certainly been feeling bold of late, beating Manchester City and then defending champions Arsenal in his first two games as interim manager Michael Carrick. This could translate into their transfer plans ahead of the summer transfer window.
While it’s been a quiet month, recent reports suggest that Ineos may be ready to invest heavily again when the current campaign ends. Some even Palmer.
Reports suggest the former Manchester City star is homesick in London, leaving the Old Trafford players to make the most of the opportunity. However, Chelsea boss Liam Roniol has since denied the rumors, telling reporters that his star player is untouchable.
Rossnier said: “There’s no reason to guarantee it. It’s so unrealistic. It comes out of nowhere. There’s nothing in it. There’s no reason to have a conversation. That’s where I’m at.”
“Cole is very happy. I’ve had a lot of conversations with him. The idea is how can we make this team better, how can he improve and how can I help him.
“He loves being here and he wants to be a Chelsea player. You can’t stop speculation but some of it is far from the truth. There is no point in discussing it.”
But Palmer is not the only Chelsea striker United are keeping an eye on. Ineos are also reportedly considering signing one of west London’s most promising stars.
Manchester United considering move for Tyrique George

Now, they can give George the opportunity he’s currently not getting in west London – and beat Chelsea in the process.
