Ruben Neves has signed a contract extension that will see him continue Al-Hilaland disappointed a host of top European clubs.

However, the Pro League leaders announced this afternoon that Neves has penned a new deal that will tie him to the Riyadh club until 2029.
Al-Hilal’s statement was read out: “The board of directors of Al-Hilal Club Company, headed by His Highness Prince Nawaf bin Saad, has signed a contract extension with Portuguese player Ruben Neves for three additional sports seasons until 2029.
“His Highness signed the contract extension with Reuben at the club’s headquarters in Riyadh this Wednesday afternoon.
“Ruben has excelled with the team, contributing with his teammates to Al-Hilal’s achievement of five titles: the King’s Cup, the Roshan Saudi League, two Saudi Super Cups and the Riyadh Season Cup.
“Furthermore, Ruben played a key role in Al-Hilal’s remarkable results during their participation in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where the team advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament.”
Neves stars for Al-Hilal
Neves moved to Saudi Arabia from Wolves in 2023 and has been one of the stand-out midfielders in the Pro League over the last three years.
The announcement adds to an impressive week for Al-Hilal, who on Tuesday, Completed the signing of the former France striker from Al-Ittihad, much to the irritation of Al-Nasr star Cristiano Ronaldo.
