Luke Littler turns 19 on Wednesday and has already achieved more as a teenager than almost any other darts player before him.
Littler is the dominant force in the world No. 1 and current two-time world champion, having defeated Gian van Veen following his win over Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace in January.
The successful defense of the Sid Waddell Cup is another title for Little and caps off a remarkable 12 months for Little, which has also seen him win the British Open, World Match Play, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and the 2025 Players Championship final.
Littler has overtaken Luke Humphries, Van Veen and van Gerwen to top the world rankings and has drawn comparisons to Phil “Power” Taylor to prove his continued success, with further trophies expected in the coming months and years.
He will be the pre-match favorite to win this year’s Premier League Darts Championship Starts on February 5th and broadcast live on Sky Sportshe had reached the finals in his previous two appearances.
Littler turns 19 on Wednesday, with the Winmau World Masters and European Championship the only televised events left to win in the PDC rankings, with the World Cup of Darts another potential title he hopes to win for the first time in 2026.

When will Littler join the Premier League?
The Premier League sees the world’s best darts players battle it out across 17 nights of competition every Thursday from February to May, and the annual tournament has been part of the PDC Darts calendar since its launch in 2005.
Competitions take place every Thursday evening from 5 February to 28 May at various venues across the UK, Ireland and Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands and, new for 2026, Antwerp, Belgium.
The series kicked off in Newcastle and ended at London’s O2 Arena. Littler is hoping to reach Finals Night for the third consecutive year after winning six of the 16 weekly events last year.
Humphries returns as defending champions after beating Littler in last year’s final, with fellow players including Van Veen, van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, Gervin Price, Josh Locke and Stephen Bunting.
