Lori Lightfoot vows to ‘expose’ ICE agents

As a senior American border patrol commander Gregory Bovino continued to say the agency will be in Chicago “for many years,” and former Windy City Mayor Lori Lightfoot told federal officials that his “day of reckoning is coming.”
“If you think we’re done with Chicago, you better check yourself before you destroy yourself,” Bovino, commander of Operation Impunity in California, wrote in an article. Posted on X.
“Don’t call it a comeback; we’re gonna be here for years,” he added in the lyrics to LL Cool J’s “Mama Said Knock You Out,” which plays in the background of the video montage included in the post.

“Glory hound Greg Bovino can’t resist playing dumb in the third largest media market. The actions of the CBP militia under his command are unconstitutional (sic) and disgraceful. Hey Greg, your day of reckoning is coming,” she asserted.
Bovine posted similar posts Day X last week.
“Don’t worry, Chicago, we’re here for years to come! Despite calls for violence against our agents, the brave men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol have come together with serious plans to help clear Chicago’s streets of illegal alien crime,” he declared. “We work for you.”

“‘Abolish ICE’ is my complete endorsement of the name for one of Chicago’s next generation snowplows. Remember to submit your choices by January 10, 2026!” Johnson wrote in a post Posted on X.
Bovino fired back at the mayor: “Oooh, I got the nomination for mayor. Name the plow a ‘reality check’ and paint it green when you (sic) use it. Johnson seems obsessed with the Border Patrol!” he wrote.
Johnson shared a screenshot of Bovino’s post, noting that federal officials should use the abbreviation “you’re” in the post.
