Long dash: long -lasting effects, five years on




On March 17, 2020. Five years later, many infected with the virus are still suffering symptoms, which have become known as a long covid. Complications are different, but they often include exhaustion, muscle pain, regular fever, cardiac states and difficulties in concentration. Some patients saw that their lives are turning upside down, after having no other choice but to give up their jobs and face family members who ask if their illness is “real” or “just in their heads.” In this edition of Focus, Gaëlle Fonsec and Claire Paccalin met with long Kovida patients and experts from Clinique du Parc near Montpellier looking for answers.
