Liverpool star signs two-year deal

Mohamed Salah has agreed a new two-year contract with Liverpool, according to former Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.

The Argentinian, who recently retired due to health reasons, may now have some insider knowledge on such big news, as he appears to have heard Salah to sign new deal At Anfield.

Salah’s future has been the subject of speculation The Egypt international has come worryingly close to becoming a free agent in recent times.

The player himself has now spoken out on several occasions about his situation, suggesting he is not entirely happy with the way Liverpool have handled his situation.

Still, some sort of compromise may have been in place, as Aguero appears to believe the issue has now been resolved.

“It is my understanding that Salah has renewed his contract with Liverpool for two seasons. I think this should remove all doubts about his future,” Aguero told Stake.com (quoted by FourFourTwo).

“He remains a key player and a new contract is the best news Liverpool can receive.”

Liverpool fans will no doubt hope this is accurate, although they may wish to wait longer for more consistent and reliable sources to back it up.

Salah is still in excellent form for Liverpool this season and if he eventually leaves, he will surely have big-name suitors from around the world.

There is no doubt that the Saudi club could try to pay huge sums for the 32-year-old, although major European sides such as Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona have also been linked.
