
The Premier League table looks decidedly strange as we approach the halfway point of the 2024/25 season.
Nottingham Forest complete the top four, Manchester City are seventh while Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are both in the order. The bottom half. However, it is no less surprising to see Liverpool leading the league.

Arsenal secure a A much needed victory over Crystal Palace Saturday after consecutive league draws and they will be aiming to end the year with an equally emphatic victory. The Gunners host the newly-promoted Ipswich Town Friday evening, with the tractor boys Beaten 4-0 by Newcastle United.
New Year’s Day brings a short but challenging journey Brentford. The Bees only lost their first home Premier League match of the season at the weekend as they were knocked out by a dominant Nottingham Forest.

Chelsea Arguably the easiest of the three sides are the next five Premier League fixtures at the top of the table. The Blues don’t even have a Carabao Cup semi-final to worry about after their early season exit.
Boxing Day brings with it the West London Derby FulhamWho are unbeaten in their last five matches but have won just once in that time. It won’t be straightforward for Chelsea against the Cottagers but they will be happy to finish the calendar year with a trip to Portman Road to face the Flop. Ipswich.
Chelsea’s first match of 2025 sees them travel to south London, where they will face off Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. The Blues have enjoyed this fixture in recent years but could only manage a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge earlier in the campaign.
Enzo Maresca should be able to give his team plenty of time to recover after the clash with the Eagles. Chelsea face Morecambe in the third round of the FA Cup before their next Premier League clash Bournemouth. The Cherries are currently fifth in the table after a hugely impressive few weeks.
Chelsea then welcomed Wolverhampton Wanderers has overtaken Old Gold in West London Reverse fixture. However, the Midlands club are now under new management following the appointment of Vitor Pereira, meaning the next meeting could be a tougher challenge than the Molineux bout.
