LG Takes On Samsung’s Frame With Gallery TV

LG revealed its acquisition of the TV as a picture frame trend in the new Gallery TV, available in 55 and 65 inches.

LG’s 4K TV is a MiniLED-backlit television with swappable, magnetic frames. Gallery TV comes with the Gallery Plus app, so users can choose from over 4,500 pieces of artwork, use generative AI or add their own.

The TV’s Gallery Mode optimizes color and brightness to “recreate the visual texture of original masterpieces” using an onboard light sensor, and the TV is part of the company’s Art TV range, which LG will debut in CES 2026.

However, LG is behind the curve with the gallery model, as many brands, including TCL, Hisense, Samsung and Skyworth there are already Frame-style TVs on the market.

Pricing and availability of the Gallery TV has yet to be announced.
