Lenovo and Dell warn: Your next laptop will soon be bulky

Representatives for Dell and Lenovo did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The timing of the shortages is not good for PC manufacturers, who usually announce a range of products at CES in early January to ship in the first half of the year. It’s also not bad news for manufacturers of complex components, especially Intel and AMD.
