Lennox Lewis Clarified his thoughts ahead of heavyweight showdown Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder.
The news was officially confirmed on Friday Chisora and Wilder will meet at London’s O2 Arena on April 11, co-promoted by Misfits Pro and Queensberry, and broadcast live on DAZN.
This game was the 50th professional game for both menand could lead to a future world title for the winner.
That’s because Wilder has been in talks to fight the unified heavyweight king Alexander Usyk “Del Boy” had been linked to WBO heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley before agreeing to fight Chisora.
The pair will be completely focused on each other ahead of any potential title chances, with former undisputed champion Lewis revealing who he thinks will win.
Interviewed by FightHypeLewis said he was slightly leaning toward Wilder.
“There are two heavyweights there, whoever catches the other first is going to go first because they’re both good boxers. I like guys with longer arms. (Deontay) has the advantage because he has longer arms.”
Wilder fights Chisora as he looks to rediscover his past glory, having suffered four defeats in his past six fights following fights with Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker and Zhang Zhilei.
Chisora, on the other hand, has been in fine form of late, claiming wins over Otto Walling, Joe Joyce and Gerald Washington, setting up a showdown with the ‘Bronze Bomber’.
