Philippines’ Jeremy Miado and South Africa’s Willie van Rooyen, two fighters with knockout ability in every fight, will clash in a flyweight mixed martial arts contest at ONE Fight Night 41 presented by Prime Video.

Their three-round tie will be broadcast live in US primetime on Friday, March 13, from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. ONE Championship The match was announced on Monday, February 2, on its official Instagram account (@onechampionship).

Jeremy Myado van Rooyen goes into this fight looking to get back among the winners.

The 33-year-old Filipino slugger ended his four-fight slump with a unanimous decision victory over American slugger Gilbert Nakatani at ONE Fight Night 28 last February.

But he failed to maintain his momentum last December when he lost to Uzbek fighter Avazbek Holmirzaev via second-round TKO.

Prior to that, “The Jaguar” had six wins in 10 promotional appearances, all in highlight reel formats against Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, Miao Litao (twice), Lito Adiwang, Danial Williams and Peng Xu Wen.

Jeremy Miado has never liked leaving results to the referee, and fans can expect him to bring the same finishing instinct to this fight as he seeks redemption on the global stage.

Wille Van Rooyen Arrives at ONE Championship With a perfect 7-0 record, he knocked down his opponents four times and achieved one submission victory, including KOing Kleberson Sousa in 37 seconds last year to win the EFC lightweight championship.

Unfortunately, the 23-year-old’s promotion at ONE Fight Night 37 didn’t go as planned. The A-Team star martial artist brought out the ground game of Hormirzaev in the first round of their flyweight MMA fight.

While he struggled to find a rhythm in that clash, the young gun had plenty of finishing ability with punches, elbows and knew how to outplay his opponents on the court.

This versatile weapon will come in handy against Miado at ONE Fight Night 41 on Prime Video next month.
