Ravindra Jadeja drew second blood for India as KL Rahul grabbed a sharp catch at first slip after two juggles. Opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul left the field after hitting Jadeja for a six off the first ball.
Even the Indians struggled to pick wickets easily in the second Test, unlike what they did in the first match of the series in Ahmedabad, where the visitors were bowled out for less than 200 runs in both their batting innings. However, this track looks better for batting as there is nothing to help the bowlers.

Ravindra Jadeja, after scoring an unbeaten hundred and picking four wickets in the last game, did not get a chance with the bat this time in Delhi. Instead, Nitish Kumar Reddy was promoted. However, Jadeja can never be left out of the game.

This time, he had the ball in his hands. On the third ball of 28, Jadeja bowled to West Indies opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul, which spun a little backwards and came up at an angle to the batsman’s edge. As Chanderpaul advanced, the ball was stopped and it flew towards KL Rahul at first slip.
The batsman, known for his quick reflexes, fumbled and almost lost the ball in his first attempt, but he kept his composure to toss the ball up in his second attempt and caught it beautifully in the third attempt. Chanderpaul was dismissed and Jadeja took the second wicket.

Kuldeep Yadav takes wicket; batsman Alik Attanadze must walk back
After Ravindra Jadeja’s first two dismissals, Kuldeep Yadav came into the fold to remove the most consistent batsman in the West Indies line-up. Alick Athanaze showed great resistance on the second day of the second Test; however, his resistance ended in the 33rd over of the match.
Kuldeep Yadav bowled to the left-hand batsman after a brief pause and Athanaze, attracted by the sight of the spinning ball, lost control. He had done all the hard work but then gave up his wicket gently.
The batsman struggled to sweep a full delivery off Kuldeep Yadav but the ball fell to him so the shot in the air did not find its height and Ravindra Jadeja took the catch and led to the fall of another wicket.
Ravindra Jadeja finished third on the day amid fierce competition
One wicket after another for Indian spinners. Ravindra Jadeja was in red hot form as he picked his third over of the day and again gently dismissed West Indies skipper Roston Chase. Chase comes in to bat. 5 and was dismissed for a duck.
Jadeja bowls one beautifully around mid-on and leg; the ball is pitched and floats past the right-hander. Chase tried to churn the ball up the leg side, leaning forward, but was only late to bat as he scooped the ball back for a simple pass back to the bowler. Jadeja couldn’t make any mistakes there as he grabbed the simple return ball.
