Khawaja Asif opens ‘fake’ Pizza Hut in Pakistan. Netizens Say “5th Gen War Looks Delicious”

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif became the talk of the town after inaugurating what was apparently a new Pizza Hut outlet in Sialkot. In an egg-on-the-face moment for Asif, the company clarified that it was an unauthorized food outlet using the Pizza Hut brand and identity hours after videos of the inauguration went viral.

In a formal statement, the company said: “Pizza Hut Pakistan informs our valued customers that an unauthorized outlet falsely using the Pizza Hut name and brand has recently been opened in Sialkot Cantonment. This outlet is not associated with the Pizza Hut Pakistan or Yum! brands. It does not follow the recipes, quality protocols, food safety and operational standards of Pizza Hut International.”

The company has filed a formal complaint with the relevant authorities to stop the misuse of its brand and ensure immediate action. He also mentioned that the company has a total of 16 outlets in Pakistan, 14 in Lahore and 2 in Islamabad.

After that, netizens decided to have a field day and shared some hilarious interpretations of the whole situation. “5th generation war looks delicious,” said one netizen.

Referring to an earlier claim by Asif when he was asked for proof of shooting down an Indian plane during Operation Sindoor, a social media user said, “Where is the proof of this Pizza Hut? It’s all over social media.”
