Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhands Is Coming To Fortnite

Fortnite about to get more punk. The surprisingly popular battle royale game has had some major crossovers this year, with wonders, Fallout and even the NBAand it is about to bring the two main characters from Cyberpunk 2077 to the game.

Skins for the iconic rockstar-turned-revolutionary Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves, as well as the female version of the game’s protagonist, V, can be purchased Monday night in the Fortnite shop, Eurogamer reports. Pricing hasn’t been set yet, but each skin will likely cost 1,500 V-Bucks, or approximately $12, as detailed in images found by data miners in the game. There are also accessories available to purchase along with the skins.

The official Fortnite X account posted about the crossover on Sunday with a message that said, “We’re expecting some visitors from Night City.”

This is the second time Reeves will be available to play as a Fortnite character. Back in 2019, the battle royale game had a crossover in the The John Wick franchisewhich adds an in-game skin for the title character, as well as adding a replica of Wick’s house to the map.

These crossovers with franchises, celebrities and other entities can last an entire season, playing out for up to 10 weeks, or in some cases, just one day. Fortnite developer Epic Games has yet to provide details about the Cyberpunk crossover, so it’s unclear how soon the skins will be available for purchase.

Meanwhile the in-game purchases are what make Fortnite worth it billion dollarsthose purchases also landed publisher Epic Games in trouble with the federal government. The company settled with the Federal Trade Commission in 2023 over years of unwanted purchases made in the game that affected thousands of individuals. Earlier this month, payments totaling $245 million sent to those affected as part of the settlement.
