Shares of consumer goods giant The Procter & Gamble Company ( NYSE:PG ) are down 10% over the past year, but are up 5.7% year-to-date. A number of analysts have weighed in on the 2026 company and their opinions have varied between raising and lowering their price target on the stock. As an example, Barclays raised its price target on the stock to $155 from $151 and maintained an Equal Weight rating. The bank noted that pressures on The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) from oil and currency could create headwinds for the company in 2026. Unlike Barclays, UBS cut its price target on the stock to $161 from $176 and maintained a buy rating due to uncertain market conditions for consumer staples stocks in late August, as the bullish had been done by the end of 202026. The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) could benefit from accelerating sales growth and improving margins. Cramer seems to agree with JPMorgan, as he believes The Procter & Gamble Company’s (NYSE:PG) new CEO can breathe new life into the stock:

“Procter & Gamble, it’s a new order, it’s a new CEO. Already JPMorgan has been upgraded without anything happening. This new CEO, internationally oriented. He talked about Brazil, he talked about Mexico, he talked about China, he’s not the usual Proctor who is (inaudible) abroad. I really like him, I think it’s an important move, Procter & Gamble.
