New York Judge Analisa Torres ruled that the woman Blame Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs Her rape, which occurred when she was 13, can currently remain anonymous.
On Thursday, Torres ruled that Jane Doe could remain anonymous but reserved the right to reconsider the decision in the future. According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Jane Doe may be required to reveal her identity if the case proceeds. Torres also noted that the public is “very interested” in the case.
The judge also specifically addressed lawyers for Jay-Z, whose legal name is Shawn Carter, in court documents.
“Carter’s attorneys relentlessly filed combative motions containing inflammatory language and personal attacks that were inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources, and a tactic unlikely to benefit his client,” Torres said, referring to It’s Jay-Z’s lawyer Alex Spiro.

“Courts will not expedite judicial proceedings simply because lawyers ask for them,” she continued.
Earlier this month, the music mogul filed a motion to dismiss the rape lawsuit. He also asked the court to reject the plaintiff’s request for anonymity. Documents state that Jay-Z is accused of raping a minor at the 2000 MTV VMAs after party with Diddy.
