Takaichi Sanae’s Liberal Democratic Party is turning the shaky coalition she inherited as Japan’s first female prime minister back in October into a landslide victory in early elections that will give the 64-year-old admirer of the late British prime minister Margaret Thatcher enough room to reform the constitution and break with eight decades of pacifism.
