Jutta Leerdam opens up about her initial thoughts on dating Jake Paul

Jutta Leerdam recently opened up about her initial thoughts on dating Jake Paul. The American boxer started the conversation by inviting the speed skater to his “Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson.” After that, the two kept in touch until they understood each other’s true feelings.
In an interview with Heavy.com, the speed skater admitted that she never thought she would date him because she judged him based on his social media persona. However, she soon realizes that Paul’s true nature is the complete opposite.
“I’ve never thought about dating him, never. Of course, I don’t know much about him. I can only scroll through his Instagram and form an opinion like the rest of the world. But he’s the complete opposite.”
They made their relationship public on Instagram in April 2023 and later got engaged. Jutta Leerdam will next compete in the women’s 500m on Tuesday 10 February 2026.
