Israeli strikes kill at least 30 people across Gaza, one of the heaviest casualties since an October ceasefire

New Israeli airstrikes hit targets across Gaza on Saturday, including an apartment building in Gaza City and the Khan Younis tent camp, killing at least 30 people, hospital officials said. The strikes come just a day before the announced reopening of the Rafah crossing in the enclave with Egypt and mark a continuing rise in the death toll as Israel and Hamas trade accusations of ceasefire violations.
