He admits that while the century was satisfying, he doesn’t consider himself a finished product. There is still room for growth, especially in maintaining the highest level of consistency. The real challenge for Kishan is to carry this form forward and translate individual talent into consistent performances that benefit the team in big matches.
“That’s the plan for every player in our team right now. Even if you get close to a milestone, it doesn’t matter. If you start hitting singles in these overs, you feel like you can go bigger and that makes a huge difference. If the ball hits there, you have to go for it. You shouldn’t think about milestones but focus on winning games,” Kishan said.
World Cup ambitions leave Kishan hungry

The explosive batsman has openly stated that his main goal is not just bilateral success – he is firmly focused on 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. “Of course, it’s satisfying, but I still feel like I’m not at that level yet. I’ve done well and won these awards, but my main focus is the World Cup. That’s where the extra effort comes in. It’s important that we continue like this.” Kishan added.
