Iran ‘doesn’t have many cards to play’ ahead of talks this week, expert says




Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Mark Owen, Sina Azodi, director of the Middle East Studies program at George Washington University and author of “Iran & the Bomb: United States, Iran & the Nuclear Question”, says that ‘since the June 2025 conflict, the Iranians don’t have many cards to play with, the only leverage they have is 400 kilograms of highly enriched uranium’, ahead of talks scheduled for Friday this week.
