England boss Thomas Tushell has confirmed that captain Harry Ken will miss a friendly injury against Wales on Thursday.
Euro 2024 runners welcomed their neighbors at Wembley sold on Thursday evening before paying attention to Latvia at the World Cup Qualifier on Tuesday.
Ken is expected to be displayed in Riga, but England’s all-time top scorer will miss the first game of double-header by winning the Interchut Frankfurt on the weekend of Bayern Munich.
“Harry will miss the game,” Tushell said. “He got kicked in his last match with Bayern Munich.
“It was very painful to kick the ball, it was very dangerous that he would get another kick and there was pain in the upper and bottom situations, so we gave him the opportunity to calm everything.
“We are sure he will be ready for the match against Latvia.”
Tushell confirmed that Jordan will be captain in Wembley in the absence of a can from Henderson, John Stones or Declan Rice.
Tushell has Oli Watkins, Marks Rashford and Anthony Gordon, which is available to start the attack.
