Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt superstar Fabricio “The Fire Shadow” Andre believes his upcoming opponent, IBJJ World Champion Joao Pedro Bueno Mendes, may have a tough start under the bright lights of ONE Championship.

ONE Championship It is the largest martial arts organization in the world, with millions of viewers tuning in to its live events around the world. Andre says it has the potential to melt any unprepared athlete.

Talking about ONE Championship Andre said in a recent interview that there is a lot of pressure to compete on a global stage and Mendes may not be ready for it.

“Even though I have competed in a lot of big events, I felt a lot of pressure making my ONE debut because of the grandeur of ONE and the importance of it to my career. So I’m sure he will feel the same way (in his debut) and I’m used to it.”
