What is being recalled?
Keurig Dr Pepper is voluntarily recalling 960 cartons of McCafe Premium Roast Decaf Coffee K-Cup Pods, according to a US Food and Drug Administration memo. The reason listed for the recall read: “The product is labeled as decaf, but may contain caffeine.”
The 84-pod pack is the version being recalled.
CNET picks McCafé Premium Roast as the best K-Cupalthough the decaffeinated version is not included. It is unclear at this time how many states are selling the cartons.
A representative for Keurig Dr Pepper told CNET that the recalled K-Cups are being sold only on Amazon and that customers have been notified. The recalled products have also been removed from the site.
