ICE protesters speak out after White House releases fake arrest images

Nekima Levy Armstrong, a US civil rights lawyer and activist, said she was “disgusted” that the White House released a photo of her arrest that had been edited to show her in tears.

She was detained last month for organizing a protest against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at a church in Minnesota.

BBC Verify’s Jake Horton spoke to Levy Armstrong about the doctored image and the backlash she faced.
