“It makes me feel really good knowing that he praised me. He was actually supposed to be in my corner, but it didn’t work out. But I knew he was there… I could hear him supporting me, looking at me, and I think everyone could hear him at some point,” Vladimir Kuzmin told Atkin through a translator.
“He’s a great guy to have in your support team. I could definitely hear him. In the third round, I felt like I was getting a little tired. I asked my coach to help me record the time. He passed it to Malyhin and he let me know it. Thank you, Anatoly,” Kuzmin continued.

Kuzmin’s win in the Thai capital last week extended his winning streak to two. The Russian defeated Irishman Stefan Corodi via unanimous decision last July.

Vladimir Kuzmin is ready to don the four-ounce gloves again after a comfortable win on the global stage. However, the Russian striker hinted that it could adopt a completely different ruleset.
