Hong Kong sentenced pro-democracy mogul Jimmy Lai to 20 years in prison




Former Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai, a staunch critic of Beijing, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday in the longest sentence yet under a China-imposed national security law that has effectively silenced dissent in the city.
