Heavyweight boxer vows to finally retire Tyson Fury: ‘This time it’s for real’

Tyson Fury Fury’s goal is to become a three-time heavyweight world champion, but there are those who want to interfere and derail those plans by retiring Fury more permanently.

However, it has now been confirmed that Fury will return to the ring in two months’ time as he aims to become boxing’s fifth three-time ruler.

For his comeback, Fury is tasked with dealing with Russian Arslanbek Makhmudovwho was a success on British soil in his last outing when Beat Dave Allen four months ago in Sheffield.

talk with sky sportsKamil Estefan, founder of Eye of the Tiger Promotions and Mahmudov’s promoter, said his fighter’s goal is to get Fury into a “real retirement.”

“Our goal is to retire him, for real this time!”

Seventeen of Makhmudov’s 19 wins at distance have come within the first three rounds, meaning Fury will need to be prepared for an early charge should he collide with the Mozdok-born underdog.

Fury-Makhmudov is believed to be playing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, April 11, after previous attempts to stage the event at Old Trafford failed.

The event will be streamed live on Netflix without the cost of a standard subscription, with more details on Undercard expected soon.
