Glamorgan County head coach Grant Bradburn has been sacked with immediate effect following allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
Bradburn, who was appointed head coach on a three-year contract in January 2024, was recently accused of misconduct by the independent cricket regulator.
Following the allegations of misconduct, the club referred Bradburn to an independent agency and “are confident that a fair and transparent process was followed in this case”.
Mark Rhydderch-Roberts, chairman of Glamorgan Cricket Association, said: “At Glamorgan Cricket Association we put the welfare of our staff first and provide support to those affected.
“We are extremely proud of our record and we ensure that everyone involved with the club feels respected, belongs and is treated fairly.”
Glamorgan Cricket Club says it has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination.
Hamilton-born Bradburn was an amateur who played seven Test matches and 11 one-day internationals for New Zealand between 1990 and 2001.
Bradburn coached the Northern Districts and New Zealand U19 teams in his home country before being appointed Scotland head coach in 2014.
He coached Scotland to their historic first ODI victory over England in 2017 and had a brief spell as Pakistan head coach in 2023 before signing a three-year contract with Glamorgan last January.
Bradburn guided Glamorgan to a One Day Cup victory in September and finished fifth in Division Two of the Vitality County Championship.
