Democratic Maine Gov. Janet Mills, who is vying to oust Republican Sen. Susan Collins, assured her health was good after being asked by a CNN reporter on Monday Feasibility of campaign At her age.
“When it comes to electability, one of the biggest concerns I hear about you is your age,” CNN’s Manu Raju told Mills, 78.

“What do you think the memories from your party are about Joe Bidenis this too much for you? asked Raju.
“Oh my God! Oh, for God’s sake, I’m not Joe Biden. I’m healthy. People see me working every day. They know I can do it. And I’ve done it,” she said.
Speculation about Biden’s deteriorating mental health grew during the 2024 presidential campaign, ultimately leading to intense pressure on the president who hopes to drop out of the race.
