Ghana suspends citizenship process for people of African descent


Dr Erica Bennett, ambassador for the African Diaspora Forum, which helps people relocate to Ghana, told the BBC that many applicants had struggled with the requirement to submit DNA evidence within a week of applying, a timeframe she said was “impossible” for most and some had questioned the reliability of DNA testing.
