Headlines: Even as New York City celebrates its “safest month ever” with record low murders and shootings, Anti-Semitic hate crimes surge 182%. The 31 incidents, including the attack on Chabad headquarters, account for more than half of all hate crimes and have the community on edge. The Anti-Defamation League is asking Mayor Mamdani to prioritize leadership in dealing with an “alarming” surge in targeted violence as overall crime rates fall.

“I felt forced”: State Senator Sharif Street, the first Muslim member of the House of Representatives, Strong condemnation of anti-Semitic rally in Rittenhouse Square Protesters glorified Hamas and “martyrdom.” Street rejected extremism and declared that Hamas should be condemned, not celebrated. His stance joins bipartisan warnings, including from Republican leaders and Gov. Shapiro, that inciting violence against Jewish neighbors undermines the path to peace.
Not a fan: New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s ‘Post-it’ note Super Bowl campaign against anti-Semitism is under attack. Tablet columnist Liel Leibovitz slammed the ad as “silly” and “spineless clicktivism,” comparing it to an empty moral gesture. He believes soft approaches cannot address real-world threats and calls for tougher, more direct action against the symbolic blue square.
