Former New York senator faces backlash after ‘insensitive’ X post

New Jersey Democrats slam New York as controversial NYC congestion pricing takes effect

Biaggi’s response sparked an immediate backlash from X users, with many calling her response insensitive.

“Biagi, what is your net worth? Why do you hate workers so much?” one user asked.

“‘Get over it, you poor people!’ – Alessandra Biaggi,” scoffed another.

Another user responded: “Not everyone has the money to afford this. How can people simply ‘get over it’ you insensitive clown.”

Biaggi’s subsequent posts on X were filled with “get over it” comments from users, reminding the former senator that her comments did not go down well with them.

When asked to comment fox news numbers, Biaggi responded: “Congestion charging is a modern solution to funding the subway. Anyone who rides the subway knows they desperately need an update that requires funding. This should happen sooner.”
