racing feeling Lindsay Brewer Recently came out to announce her testing with DS Penske in the Formula E series. The 28-year-old last raced in the open-wheel series in 2024 and has been competing in sports car racing since then. However, with her sports car championship career coming to an end, she announced her participation in Formula E testing.

Lindsay Brewer competed in the Indy NXT Series during the 2024 season. She signed with Juncos Hollinger Racing before the season and made her debut in the first race at St. Pete. However, midway through the season, just eight games into the season, the team announced Brewer’s departure.

The 28-year-old was reportedly fired from the Indy NXT team after failing to meet financial obligations, possibly a sponsorship. There were reports that Brewer wanted to return to single-seater racing in 2025, but these have not come to fruition.

Lindsay Brewer then joined RAFA Racing to drive a Lamborghini SC63 in the North American Lamborghini Super Trofeo competition. The 28-year-old races for second-placed Rafa Racing alongside Jem Hepworth and has racked up multiple podium finishes, winning her first race at Road America.

As the Lamborghini Super Trofeo season comes to an end, Brewer’s one-year contract with Rafa Racing will also come to an end. Brewer came out as gay on October 14 and announced on her Instagram account, revealing how she will be taking part in the all-female Formula E test with DS Penske.

Lindsay Brewer will take part in the all-female Formula E test with DS Penske on 31 October 2025 alongside Jess Edgar. The test will take place in Valencia and will be the second all-female test in the electric open-wheel racing series.

Brewer shared FormulaE’s Instagram post about her Story test, writing in the caption:

“Excited to announce that I will be taking part in the @fiaformulae Women’s Test with @ds_penske_fe, thank you for the opportunity!”

Lindsay Brewer takes first win in Lamborghini Super Trofeo

Lindsay Brewer and Jem Hepworth have been in contention for victory since the start of the season and have claimed multiple podium finishes. The pair finished on the podium again in the first race at Road America. In the second race, Team No. 2 Rafa finally made the key move to win.

Brewer posted the same on social media, saying:

“Winner winner! I’ve wanted this for so long and I’m so grateful to @rafaracing.club @rafamartinez812 for giving me this opportunity! And my co-pilot beast @jemhepworth, this is just the beginning!”

The two kept going, even finishing on the podium at Indianapolis Motor Speedway before the 2025 season ended.
