Law enforcement sources told FOX News Digital earlier that Robinson’s father recognized his son in a surveillance video released by the FBI and handed him over to authorities.

R-Utah Governor Spencer Cox said on Sunday that Robinson did not cooperate with the authorities.
“He didn’t admit it to the authorities. He didn’t cooperate, but everyone around him was working together. I think that’s important.”

Authorities said on Sunday that Robinson will be held under “special surveillance” before completing a mental health assessment.
Authorities have been keeping “closely watching” Robinson before he cleared his mental health assessment. Utah County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

After Robinson clears, he will pass the classification process used to determine the detention center.
“He will continue to be under surveillance by mental, medical and guardians throughout his stay,” the statement continued.
