Fans erupt as Muzarabani’s bowling talents help Zimbabwe achieve historic win over Australia in 2026 T20 World Cup



Zimbabwe They pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the tournament Australia 23 points ahead in Game 19 of Group B 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Held at the iconic R. Premadasa Stadium. After a competitive bowling performance of 169/2 in 20 overs, the African team produced a disciplined bowling performance to defeat Australia by 146 runs in 19.3 overs.

Australia had hoped to keep Zimbabwe’s total under control after winning the coin toss and opting to bowl. What followed, however, was a composed, calculated batting performance that set the tone for an unforgettable night.

Brian Bennett leads Zimbabwe to competitive finals

Zimbabwe’s innings was built on solid batting Brian Bennetthe top-scored with 64 off 56 deliveries.
