Explosions in Iran: What we know so far




An explosion rocked the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas on Saturday, Iranian news agencies reported, but the cause of the explosion is unknown. The semi-official Tasnim news agency said reports on social media that a Revolutionary Guards navy commander had been targeted were “completely false”. In addition, four people died after a gas explosion in the city of Ahvaz near the Iraqi border, according to the state-run Tehran Times.
