Washington (Reuters) – President Donald Trump’s foreign help compelled to suspend trips for more than 40,000 Afghans to be approved for the US special visas, saying to the reciprocal A leading advocate and a US officer last Saturday.
The stop trumps in Trump’s order to stop the help of foreign development within 90 days while waiting for the review of the efficiency and consistency of his “America first” policy outside.
Experts and Adbokasy Groups say that foreign assistance has led to US chaos and international assistance and stops nutrition, health, vaccination and other programs.
The order also caused the state department suspension of funds for groups that assisted Afghans with special immigrant visas (SIV) to find houses, school and US jobs
Trump promised a blast immigration during his victorious reelection campaign at 2024.
Shawn Vandiver, #AFGHANEVAC leadership, the main coalition of veterans and advocacy groups working with the US government to evacuate and reset SIV holders, say he does not believe that suspension of flight intended.
“We thought it was an error,” says Vandiver.
He said he hopes that the administration will provide exceptions to the commands of Afghans who have been approved for the SIVs because they work in the US government during the 20 years of war that ends with the last withdrawal US troops from Afghanistan on August 2021.
“They fight with us. They bleed beside us,” says Vandiver, who focused ten thousand other Afghans waiting for SIV applications to be processed.
The White House and State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The UN Mission reports of Afghan say that Taliban Details, analyzes and kills former soldiers and officials of former US-backed government. The Taliban issued a general amnesty for former troops and government officials and denied the allegations.
Flying suspension has been stranded more than 40,000 Afghans, including SIV holders waiting to fly to the US from Qatar and Albania processing centers, as Vandiver and the US officer, which speaks the condition not recognized.
That volume also includes Afghans approved for SIVs waiting for Afghanistan and Pakistan to put on the US-funded flights to Doha and Tirana centers to receive their visas, they say.
Nearly 200,000 Afghans have been resetted to the US in SIVs or refugees since the rough 2021 withdrawal US.

In a separate executive order he signed hours after his inauguration on Monday, Trump suspends all the refugee programs in the US.
That command resulted in hundreds of refugees in the Afghan who lost their seats in flights, including family members in the active office of Afghan American military, formerly Afghan soldiers and children with no partner.
