Liverpool manager Arne Slott says ‘every game is crucial’ as they chase a place in the Premier League’s top four.

“We are fully aware of the fact that one win is never enough at this club and the next one (game) is fast approaching against Newcastle. I am 100% sure that that game will be a bigger challenge than the one we faced on Wednesday.
“But it always helps to win, especially after losing in the last minute against Bournemouth. It’s always nice to get a better feeling during the week.”
Liverpool had a massive performance against Qarabag in midweek and Mo Salah got back on the scoresheet.
But Alexander Isak will not face his former side this weekend, with Slott confirming that the Sweden striker is still far from a return.
“I’m really pleased for Mo that he scored that goal because it’s always good to be on the scoresheet no matter what he’s scored for this club,” Sloat said.
“Isaac hasn’t even been on the (training) pitch yet. In terms of his recovery work, I don’t expect him on the pitch today or tomorrow, so it will be a while before he’s back, as we knew.”
