Erika Kirk shared a touching Christmas message on Tuesday, reflecting on life after her husband’s death and saying how faith and devotion continue to guide her through grief and raising her children.

Kirk, wife of the late conservative icon and founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) Charlie Kirkshared photos and videos on Instagram of her two children celebrating Christmas and described how she balances old and new traditions.

“This Christmas we are holed up. While the world is still the world, I love being part of a space of ongoing healing where silence is golden and a statement in itself,” Kirk wrote. “The outpouring of love from our loved ones has always been holy and holy balm into our hearts. “

The TPUSA CEO said she hopes her message will encourage other wives to be deeply committed to their spouses, even in difficult times.

“When you set your heart on making your love story one of deep devotion and self-sacrifice rather than selfishness, the Lord will use your marriage in ways that are completely inexplicable,” she said.
