Energy infrastructure seriously damaged in Ukraine




In the early hours of Saturday morning, Russia carried out another series of devastating airstrikes against Ukrainian energy facilities. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that more than 400 drones and about 40 missiles were involved in the attack. The strikes hit two thermal power plants, as well as key parts of the country’s electricity distribution system, as Ukrainians continue to endure a particularly bitter winter.
