England winger Emmanuel Faye-Waboso will miss the entire Six Nations after dislocating his shoulder while coaching at Exeter last month.
The PA news agency understands Fay Waboso will undergo surgery on December 21 on a joint injury sustained against Sale, which will keep him out for around three months.
The 22-year-old is one of England’s most dangerous players with five strikes in eight games and will be automatically selected for the Six Nations opener against Ireland on February 1 if fit.
As well as Steve Borthwick’s dampened hopes of overseeing a Championship revival after a poor autumn, Feyi-Waboso has also been denied the all-important stage Expressing his demands for British and Irish Lions selection.
Andy Farrell leads the Lions to Australia this summer and the Chiefs’ closer has become one of the back three following the impact he has had since making his Test debut in last year’s Six Nations Frontrunner.

Borthwick will name his Six Nations squad next Tuesday, with the manager needed to turn around England’s fortunes amid growing scrutiny of his position following a disappointing 2024.
