Disney is looking to entice guests by offering a perk of free summer vacation packages


Walt Disney World is hoping to lure visitors to its Orlando resort this summer with a limited-time offer.

Starting January 2nd, guests who purchase a selection Walt Disney world Vacation packages for 2025 can enjoy a free dining plan.

The offer is available most nights for arrivals between May 27 and June 26 and from July 7 to August 6, according to a press release.

In order to participate in the promotion, you must book a minimum 3-night, 3-day non-discounted Walt Disney World package that includes a room and a theme park ticket with the Park Hopper option.

“We offer a wide variety of ticket options, restaurants and hotels and promotional offers throughout the year help families save on their holidays”, reads a Disney Parks blog post from Monday. “In particular, we’ve heard from many of you who have enjoyed special offers with our dining plans over the past few years and, by popular demand, we’re introducing our latest offer to help you save and enjoy your meals Disney favorites in the future. Vacation 2025!”

Similar promotions were popular before Covid, a Disney spokesperson told Fox Business by phone.

All participants in a guest party, ages three and older, have two dining plan options, which offer guests a specific number of meals and snacks based on the number of nights they stay at a Disney Resort.

Dining room plans are accepted at more than 200 restaurants and Walt Disney World locations.

“Dining plans are ideal for those who want to get into vacation mode with less worries and make the most of their trip. Whether you’re a family with young children or a group of foodies, you can eat almost anything of food, from chicken fingers to filet mignon, with the Dining Plan,” says a Disney release.

Earlier this month, Disney announced what’s coming to Orlando parks in 2025, with many of the shows and attractions set to take place over the summer. Test Track returns to EPCOT in ‘late summer’ says the Disney Parks blog.
