Digital sovereignty: ‘an opportunity for technology to serve society’




Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Sharon Gaffney, Martin Hullin, director of the Technology Resilience and Sovereignty Network at the Bertelsmann Foundation, says that US political coercion through big tech companies provides ‘an opportunity for Europe to consider not just funding alternatives, but actually strategize about how we would like technology to serve societies, not the other way around’.
